OUTREACH Outreach is the service where AMURTEL provides services and support to women who cannot otherwise attend the center. In short, if women cannot attend the day-center, AMURTEL will go to them.

As the first weeks after delivery are a particularly vulnerable time for new mothers and infants, outreach ensures they receive the necessary postnatal care when they cannot attend the center.
In collaboration with MAMbrella, a Swiss midwives NGO, AMURTEL provides various educational services as part of outreach to refugee camps and other NGO’s, amongst others.
An Outreach Coordinator is on staff to oversee and coordinate the needs women often have beyond our daily services: an individual case that may require help with hospital appointments, legal advice and housing etc.
